Heene Community Association requires a Part Time Caretaker for evening and weekend cover.

Flexibility is required as there will be opportunities for extra hours to cover sickness and holidays and on some occasions hours required could exceed 20 hours a week.

Duties include general cleaning of the rooms and public areas, setting up and taking down of equipment, assisting members of the public within the centre, maintaining building security, maintaining the garden area and general maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, decorating jobs, etc.

Applicants must be able to work with minimum supervision, use their own initiative, be responsible, hardworking, honest and reliable, able to work to health and safety guidelines, have effective communication skills and demonstrate a positive presence within the building.

A normal working week will be:-

Monday 4pm - 10pm

Friday 5pm - 10pm

Sunday 10am - 4pm (less a 30 minute break)
