Pilates and Yoga

Movement with purpose

Pilates and Hatha Yoga offer powerful ways to build strength, mobility, balance and body awareness — but every body moves differently. My approach brings together these practices with a deeper understanding of biomechanics, creating movement that is not only effective, but adapted to the individual.

With a background in biomechanics, I look beyond simply teaching you how to perform an exercise or hold a posture. I consider how your body is structured, how you naturally move, where you may be compensating, and what might be limiting your movement or creating discomfort. This allows movement to be adapted to work with your body rather than forcing your body to fit a particular movement.

In Pilates, we develop strength, control and stability while improving how your body moves as a whole. In Hatha Yoga, we explore posture, mobility, breath and mindful movement with greater awareness of individual alignment and differences.

Not sure which practice is right for you? Come and try both.

Mondays
10:45–11:45 — Pilates
11:45–12:45 — Hatha Yoga

Beginners are very welcome and all equipment is provided. You’re invited to a FREE TRIAL of either session — or both! That way you can experience the difference and decide what feels right for your body before committing.

Whether you want to build strength, move more freely, improve your posture or simply feel more comfortable and capable in your body, the aim is the same: to help you understand your body and move with greater confidence.

Come and try. Find what works for your body.
